Making Money in an Investment

I found another place to invest money. This is what is known as a HYIP program. It produces a high yield for the money you invest. Some of these, just like high yield stock, are risky but the reward is great. The program I'm investing in has been around for about 3 years and is very solid. You can earn up to 2.5% per day on your money.

If you invest 1000 dollars you would earn 25 dollars per day. In one month you would earn 750 dollars. Check it out. They have different programs that have lower yields. the 2.5% requires a 200 day commitment.

The program is called Investment Manager.

Paid from Cash Crate!

Ok.. I was paid by cashcrate. 76 dollars. Still quite a way to go to reach 1 million but hey..it's a start. So here's what I'm doing now.

When I was paid by cashcrate it seemed logical to me that if I made 76 dollars, it was very probable that they made double that amount. $152 dollars. Alexa shows they have 22K hits this past month. So lets assume that only 1000 of them made 76 dollars also. So that means cashcrate MAY HAVE made about 76 * 1000 = 76,000.

I have no real fact to backup this data and it's all from my head and could be way off base. but even if it was 500 people that's 38K. So, I'm taking the next logical step. Why complete the offers when I can start a service like cash crate. After all it wasn't hard to figure out what they are doing.

So I'm working on the site. I have the logo, the domain, the server setup, and I'm working with some design folks to find an acceptable price for graphic design. I'll be publishing the domain soon for advanced sign up. These users will get a special gold account for free. This allows non-referred people to be assigned to them. The folks who sign up first and participate in pre-launch testing, will be the only users to have a Gold account.

So, hope to see you there!

Oscar

Our new addition as of a few months ago.

Away we go!

I spent a few weeks looking at different ideas for making money on the internet. I have some ideas but I feel a need to take this in steps. I have extra money to invest; however, I thought it would be fun to do this from $0 dollars. Eventually, I'll add a counter that shows how much I've made to date. A balance sheet if you will. I may even take donations :-) (hey.. that is a part of making money too). I thought about this and I'm not keen on "give me a $1" sites; however, there would be a product exchange if it comes down to that. I'm cooking ideas now.

I have a few choices. I could trade my time and energy for money but I already do that and make a decent living. I want to suplement so that I can have additional funds to retire and not just sit in a lazy boy watching re-runs of 90210.

The book The Weekend Millionaire Mindset is a book I picked up that is a very good book that talks about saving money, debt (getting out of it), and just in general how to think about making money. Alot of us have it wrong.

I need to use leverage to make money. I need to leverage the efforts of others, as long as they too are able to make money, or leverage the money I already have. Since I'm trying to start at $0 there had to be some exchange for labor.

With that said, I found a site that I could spend just a little time and make some money. It's not a ton of money, but enough to start the ball rolling. The site is called CashCrate. It give you a nice portal to complete product offers and surveys in exchange for money. I thought all of these sites were a scam... but after a couple weeks, I actually did make money. I do not have th cash in hand yet but I'll keep you updated. Here's a screen shot of my earnings for March.

Why?

I've always had this drive to make money. It doesn't even have to be a lot of money, just enough to make whatever annoyance I have in my life go away. Obviously, Money doesn't fix everything; however, most will agree that it sure as hell makes it a little easier.

This view has caused me to push myself in pretty much everything I do in the realm of business. I wanted to be a manager, I became one. Then I wanted to be a programmer/Systems Engineer, so I became one. In just 8 Years, My salary went up 16 times the amount it was in 1999.

That brings me to now. I'm well paid and I really don't have much of a need for more money in terms of paying my bills. However, has I was planning for retirement one evening, I realized that I was not going to be able to live a retirement worthy lifestyle at the rate I'm going. I pissed so many years away prior to 1999 that I'm way behind on my investment planning.

This made me ask some crucial questions. How much do I need, and how do I get it? Being the tech/internet geek, I decided to search the net! Wow.. lots and lots of scams, but are they?

That's what this blog is about. I'm going to find out if they are scams. I'm a newbie to this game and I thought it would be fun to journal my journey. Why? If I'm successful, maybe readers can pull something from this and be successful themselves.

Also, one last note about motivation. I can't stand working for someone else. I want freedom to do what I want. I've always hated authority (which is why I use to be a long haired rocker).

So, here we go! Which me luck and lets hope we all learn something.
